Patients eligible for a flu jab this year, who fall into either of the following two categories, are now able to book their flu jabs via reception:
- All over 65s – All patients over 65 on 31/03/2021 are eligible for a flu jab, regardless of medical history
- Patients aged 18-64 in a clinical risk group
Clinic dates (by appointment only)
- 3rd October
- 10th October
- 17th October
- 24th October
These clinics will be held at Theale Medical Centre.
We are still finalising the logistics for a drive-thru clinic off site, the details of which will be publicised as soon as possible.
Flu vaccinations for eligible children will be done in a specific nurse clinic, as the vaccines used are different. Details for this clinic are to follow.
Appointments for healthy 50 to 64 year olds will be offered at a later date, subject to vaccine availability and government guidance.
