Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) – Important Information
We are aware of recent media reports suggesting that Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) is now available from GPs for weight loss.
Unfortunately, this information is somewhat misleading. While Mounjaro is now licensed and available under specific circumstances, only a very small number of patients currently meet the strict eligibility criteria.
Please do not contact the surgery to request this medication.
If you are eligible, we will proactively contact you in the coming weeks to discuss next steps.

Theale Medical Centre will be closed on Friday 3rd April 2026 and Monday 6th April 2026 due to the Easter bank holidays.
