Welcome to Theale Medical Centre

The doctors and staff at Theale Medical Centre proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.  There has been a doctors' surgery in Theale for over 75 years. In this time it has grown from a single doctor practice to its present size of around 10,000 patients, looked after by a team of seven doctors and a wide range of medical and administrative staff.

As the practice has grown it has had to move premises to accommodate the higher numbers and the expanding range of services. The last move, in February 1993, was into our purpose-built medical centre in Englefield Road. Branch surgeries in Royal Avenue, Calcot and Cock Lane, Southend, Bradfield, offer a more local service to people in these communities.

We aim to provide a quality service to our patients and to develop primary healthcare within the NHS to meet their needs.
